Everything needed to create a convincing medical exam room environment is already in place, removing the need for additional rentals or set dressing.
Designed to function as part of a cohesive medical facility, the Exam Room standing set opens directly into our Hospital Hallway, providing authentic transitions between patient care and support areas. Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is the exam table removable for filming?
Yes! The exam table is on wheels and can be removed from the set if needed to the designated area.
2. Does the ultra sound machine work?
Though the ultrasound machine prop and wand are real, it wouldn't be safe to use a working machine on an actor. Instead, you can greenscreen it and add the image in post!
3. What costumes are available to check out for the Exam Room standing set?
We offer stethoscopes at no cost and a wide variety of hospital related costumes such as nurses scrubs, doctor's lab coats, patient gowns and surgical scrubs for checkout. *Please note that there is a $5 cleaning fee per costume checked out and items must be checked out from your stage manger upon arrival in the morning.
4. Is fake blood allowed?
We do allow the use of both silicone blood mats as well as dried fake blood makeup on actors, bandages, clothing or linens as long as our fake blood use guidelines are followed! We are unfortunately not able to allow the use of any liquid, wet or moving blood at this time. *Please note that any scenes involving the use of fake blood MUST be approved at the time of booking!
5. Is fake vomit allowed?
Under most circumstances, we can allow for fake vomit to be used as long as crews ensure the set is protected from possible damage. *Please note that any scenes involving the use of fake vomit MUST be approved at the time of booking!
